It’s been a few months since I had some IBC, but I did take notes. This is good root beer. Not at the very top of my list, but still good. All I wrote in my notes was, “Not bad. Not great, but not bad.” I also gave it an 80 though, so it’s not as bad as the description may sound. While it is less expensive than many of the bottled root beers out there, it’s not a whole lot less expensive than my favorite, so it’s just not worth it in my opinion. The ingredients (on the cap, not easy to read): carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, caramel color, sodium benzoate (preservative), natural and artificial flavors, modified food starch, citric acid. I’m not a HFCS snob, like some of the reviewers, but that ingredient list just doesn’t look as appetizing.
