Boylan’s Part Two, of Three

DSCF2387 BB cropNext up from the Boylan’s group will be the Boylan’s Birch Beer.  This one was more like root beer than the other birch beer that we sampled (which, I just realized, I have not reviewed on here yet).  This one was also a brown-ish color, unlike the Sioux City Birch Beer, which was red (I promise, that review will be one of the next, after I finish the Boylan’s group).  We actually preferred the taste of this to their root beer.  This is the only bottle that we actually finished that night.  We saved the other two and shared them with the kids later.  I gave it an 80.  Amy also liked it better than the root beer.  The ingredient list (which actually says “Made from:” instead of ingredients) lists “carbonated water, cane sugar, pure birch oils, natural flavors, caramel color, natural yucca extract, citric acid, sodium benzoate (preserves freshness).”
